(Affordable Care Act), also known as Obamacare, was signed into law on March 23, 2010 and promoted by the President Barack Obama. It is a Health Care Reform, aimed to make health insurance more affordable and accessible to everyone.
When We say affordable, We mean Obamacare gives health care subsidies to individuals and families based on age, household size and income. The insurance covers many treatments and health conditions that were not covered before. It is accessible, because now people with pre-existing conditions and pregnant women can’ t be rejected by insurance companies.
